"Meta-split"

Exchanged emails with S.A. and, as an experiment, was able to implement a change she was needing in a tune she was working on. Where a pedal normally lowers one string a half-step and raises another a half-step, she would like to be able to "touch something" and have the same pedal only raise the first string, but not lower the second.

In a sense, this is much like a split, where two pedals/levers combine to reach some middle pitch, but it can also be somewhat different in that it could change what the first pedal does. One can imagine the pedal normally acting as described but if, for example, a certain knee lever was programmed for a "meta-split," the pedal could now affect completely different strings, changing them with completely different intervals.
