Pitch shifting proof of concept

Succeeded today in having the signal from a single string pickup from cycfi.com go into Logic Pro X and be pitch shifted by a plug-in controlled by 14-bit MIDI control messages, generated by a micro-controller, calculated from the position of a potentiometer.

This basically means that the original idea can be accomplished. How to proceed on the instrument building and pitch-shifting fronts....?
